As a former foster youth, Melvin Emesibe has spent his adult life giving back, mentoring, and aiding individuals from under served communities. He’s volunteered across multiple organizations, with the steadfast goal of helping young people reach their fullest potential and live healthier lives. His program involvement encompasses adolescent and early career mentoring, college access programming, and a commitment to Connections, having spent over two years as a mentor for two different young men. His personal connection to the organization’s mission drives his passion and involvement today.
Melvin is a 2014 graduate of UCLA, where he majored in political science and was a four-year scholar athlete on the UCLA football team. He’s spent his professional career in Tech, working at both Google and Facebook. Melvin earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth, with concentration in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Behavioral Science.
