An evening of Connections

Founded in 2016, Connections Mentor curates long-term, supportive mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and young people in New York City’s child welfare system with a goal of fostering self-worth and belonging in mentees who have had a lifetime of broken adult connections. Connections has matched more than 250 relationships and has a wait list of young people seeking connection. 

Please join host Christopher Brockmeyer from The Broadway League on May 15, 2025, for our fourth annual Connect for a Cause fundraiser. We are mixing things up this year with a new rooftop venue in the heart of Manhattan. This year’s event will include a more party-like atmosphere and an opportunity to mingle with our Youth Leadership Council and staff. Come learn more about Connections directly from the young people we serve and learn how you can support our young people in their quest for connection by becoming a multi-year funder.
