An evening of Connections

Founded in 2016, Connections Mentor curates long-term, supportive mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and young people in New York City’s child welfare system with a goal of fostering self-worth and belonging in mentees who have had a lifetime of broken adult connections. Connections has matched more than 300 relationships and has a wait list of more than 50 young people seeking connection. 

Please join host Antonio Rodriguez on May 14, 2026, to celebrate 10 years of Connections. This year, we are thrilled to honor Connections’ Founder, Paul Muratore, for his life-changing contributions to New York City’s young people.
